After running system restore hooked up ethernet cable to Netgear wireless router. Got it home and did a system restore (wanted a clean slate to start with). It was connected to the internet via a wireless router then to a cable modem, everything was running fine. I got an older computer (but newer than mine) from my mother. I've scoured the internet for a solution and have come up empty. Hopefully someone can help me with this problem.
